The Scottish Volleyball Association has appointed Canadian Jenni Lloyd as its new youth development officer. Jenni, from Ottawa, has been living in Scotland for the past three years and takes up her post with immediate effect.

Scotstoun Leisure Centre in Glasgow is hosting weekly “drop-in” volleyball sessions for interested teachers or pupils. Every Wednesday (8-10pm) between now and Christmas, enthusiasts are being offered the chance to improve their game in an informal atmosphere. Costs have been kept down, with children paying pound;1.50 per session and adults pound;3.
