I’m not a puritan - but the space devoted to the article on WAGs seems out of all proportion to the prurient front page directing us to what amounts to less than two half-page columns, focusing on perhaps one of hundreds of schools that are adapting the end of term to reflect the World Cup.
And at the end of it all, is the front page “model” actually wearing one of the rings designed at Gillbrook College?
Just what was the thinking behind this approach - can we expect a series of “Page 3” specials in the near future featuring photogenic school staff?
