Schools in Thurrock, Essex, are taking part in a course set up by local police and the Army to create safer neighbourhoods. The Safer Neighbourhoods Army Challenge is being run by Essex Police and the 151 Transport Regiment. It aims to reduce youth crime by building self-confidence among pupils.
