A reminder that the Audit Commission’s website giving schools the chance to have their say on the performance of their local education authorities closes down today. The first annual national survey website was launched on June 10 to give heads in around 17,000 schools in 115 authorities the opportunity to answer questions on the support they receive from their councils and officers. The results will help education authorities’

self-evaluation and form part of the evidence examined during inspections of LEAs.
