This week, the London Borough of Greenwich’s education services were rated as “highly satisfactory” (grade 3) by Ofsted

The report based on a September 2003 inspection, said: “Greenwich continues to be an improving LEA”.

Rates of improvement were generally “rates of improvement are generally above the national trend in key stages 2 and 3”.

However, GCSE results are below the national average in the borough.
