Well drawn, boy

(Photograph) - Darren Jenkins, aged 10, considers the link between art, science, creativity and the emotions at a remarkable summer exhibition called Mental at the Glasgow Science Centre. He is adding to a metre-high book about creativity.

The touring show, which opened in Denmark, explores responses to emotions.

A favourite exhibit, entitled Whisper, is a "beautiful but incomplete woman who lives in a computer and wants to learn about emotions. She asks the children to help her come fully alive. What should she fear? Whom can she trust?" Anyone wanting to test their emotional responses has until September 4 to do so.
