Publishers behind an Assembly Government-backed project to revive Welsh works of English literature have signed a major deal to supply US book chain Barnes Noble. The Library of Wales series revives books by Welsh authors which went out of print decades ago, and plans to place a copy of each book in every school library in Wales. The first five titles, which include So Long Hector Bebb by Ron Berry and Border Country by Raymond Williams will go on sale in January 2006.
