AS director of the company referred to in your article, “Row as Ucas pushes exam revision guide” (TES, December 20), I would like to make clear that Curriculum Press is just one of a number of companies that include publicity material in Ucas mailings. Ucas makes it clear that it does not endorse any of these mailings. Curriculum Press also states that Ucas does not endorse its products. Contrary to what is said in your report, our publicity material does not include the Ucas logo.
The wider dissemination of exam-style mark schemes and explanations of what is required in exams helps to demystify the examining process - surely a desirable outcome.
