Whale songs

A musical adaptation of Why The Whales Came, the 1985 novel by Michael Morpurgo, opened this week at the Comedy Theatre, in London. Set on the beaches of the Scilly Isles, the play tells the story of two children who befriend a local outcast during the First World War, and contend with a curse they believe they have unleashed. It runs until January. A teachers'

pack for key stages 2 and 3 is available online.
