The Memory Store is a new teaching resource with an emphasis on following the journey of John Lewis from its inception to its current state as Britain’s leading department store. The “Working lives” section illustrates the difference in the roles undertaken at John Lewis by four generations of the same family and how the consumer and the company have evolved over their working lives.
