All day and all night the people party (it is why they are here), engaged in a ceaseless search for a brief encounter and the ever-soothing oblivion of alcohol. A thousand years ago, its citizens were master craftsmen who colonised a continent and whose monumental legacies will endure long after Planet Hollywood has served its last Tequila Sunrise.
