Winston on the web

It’s a name that still has considerable resonance, even nearly 40 years after his death. So the website that covers the Churchill era, complete with information from official documents of the time, is a must for teachers and learners of history. The Churchill Archives Centre, at Churchill College, Cambridge, launched its educational website, The Churchill Era: an educational resource, earlier this year. Developed by Se * Lang and centre staff, it has exercises on different aspects of the First World War for use at A and AS-level. It aldo makes personal papers from key people of the time available.
