Climate change means we are seeing the first crocus much earlier and the first cuckoo is heard in April. But the Marks Spencer website was advertising “Back to School” last weekend. In my local authority we do not break up for summer for nearly six weeks. How could parents buy children’s uniforms this early when they do not know how much their children might grow?
