Whether or not you caught the special TES screening of Wondrous Oblivion last Sunday, you can now read the book of the film (which goes on general release today) to your class. Set in south London in the early 1960s, it tells the story of a cricket-mad 11-year-old Jewish boy whose world is turned upside down when racial tensions threaten the friendship he forms with new neighbours - a family from Jamaica. We have 10 copies of the novel, by Paul Morrison, who also wrote and directed the film, to give away. Send entries, marked Wondrous offer, by email or postcard to the address on the right. The first 10 names out of the hat on April 29 will win.
