Literacy Goes MADD is a combined literacy and arts program for foundation, primary and Year 7 pupils. It joins up literacy and creative studies such as music, art and dance for the delivery of the literacy hour. New for 2003, modules now include writing opportunities and photocopiable writing frames to develop creative writing; a Year 7 project based on the award-winning children’s book Coram Boy, by Jamila Gavi, with a CD of music composed specifically for the project; and a new CD of original music composed for developing relaxation techniques with children to enhance their learning.
