Science, mathematics and technology all wear a cheerful human face on six new “Fast Forward to the Future” posters from Planet Science (formerly Science Year). Each poster focuses on topics such as chemistry, physics, and engineering, and features old, young, black, white, female and male faces. Nine practitioners offer information about their work, from research into ozone depletion or geochemical hazards to the production of new kinds of confectionery, or the design of shin guards. There are also brief quotations about what drives them, complemented by an inspiring set of images. The posters are available free of charge from Planet Science.
