The world of work can seem a complicated threat or an exciting opportunity. The Careers Research Advisory Centre has set up a website to make its three decades of expertise more widely available. While CRAC doesn't act as recruitment agency or provide individual counselling, it brings together employers, professional bodies and educational institutions in a network of information, research and training. Support for victims of crime, a community music centre and a sensory garden are some of the practical outcomes when schools and businesses form real-world partnerships.
