If they’re quick, schools can flock to join in with the closing stages of an Internet race following the route swallows take from southern Africa to Europe. Organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature, the race asks questions about the birs’ annual 9,600km migration and the winner will receive a digital video camcorder. The project, part of WWF’s sustainable development resource pack, tests geography, science, English and maths.
