THE NAME of a 10-year-old boy is to be added to the sex offenders’ register after he was convicted of indecently assaulting an eight-year-old girl during a game of football. A youth court in Northwich, Cheshire, heard that the boy had asked the girl for sex. When she refused, he sexually assaulted her, it was claimed. The boy’s solicitor said he was planning to appeal.The boy’s name is scheduled to remain on the register for two and an half years.
