Supplement your existing curricula with this guide. Many of the activities build upon each other. They use the inquiry from the previous activity to assist in the activity that follows. Thus, this publication enhances the understanding of meteorology by beginning with basic and essential parameters of weather and then moving through mind-engaging interactions with complex meteorological systems. Students will build and use weather instruments; then they will build a weather station. Students will collect weather information and combine it with existing information about cloud systems.

A full lesson or so focusing on Weimar and Nazi Germany. A great resource for all KS5 students (may be more suitable for higher level KS4 students too) but here is being used as part of my Weimar and Nazi Germany topic - I have other resources connected. Suitable for both British curriculum and the international curriculum. GCSE/ IGCSE/ A Level/ IB. Attached is a great learning resource - very straight forward and easy to use. Can be used for any exam and as a fantastic supplement to whichever textbook you are using. Excellent for PGCE students / NQTs / non-specialists as all the work has been done for you. This is not really part of the Meditation-Blog as that was something quite unique, to share my experiences in New York and my my daily meditation at the beautiful Meditation Garden I loved to visit every morning. But if there are any experiences here - back in England - which relate to issues which I mentioned or explored in that blog, I feel it is useful to share these as part of the 'appendix.' For now I feel inspired to continue to share my life in a small way here. The one about 13 - 15th relates to Remembrance Sunday. With love and thanks for all your encouragement. DMC

Dear All, I was luck enough today to attend a meeting of local Heads of Science at Redhill school, Notts. We had two speakers one from the SLC Martin Reece and also the ofsted subject lead for Science. From what we talked about I have gathered some documents from various places: ofsted, ASE and also added my own notes from what Brian Cartwright said to us (my own jottings). This should be of use to any Science department from Nov 2013 onwards. Certainly the ASE one should be the backbone of anything we are doing in Science. A very long read but super! Enjoy!
