I have looked at the white rose planning and made these powerpoints. One is based around the visuals of division, another on multiplication and then a very brief one on using the bar model method.

Created for my Year 3 class to help them understand how to use the bar model to divide. Differentiated sheets are given with suggested extensions.

This resources explains how to divide using compact division. It has a step by step break down of the method. It also provides activities for SEND or less able pupils who may not be ready for such an abstract way of working. SEND will be using a numberline to divide. A support sheet is provide for SEND. The lesson is differentiated 3 ways with all questions displayed on SMART notebook.
