When planning lessons with graphs, I find it so difficult to find differentiated questions with simple worksheets and answers included! So I have made this, and hopefully it will help some of you too! I used this with my middle ability year 10, and it was the first time they had seen all of these graphs, apart from a quadratic. All lessons include: 5 a day starter, Learning objectives and progress tick slide, Fully animated and simple examples, Worksheets ready to print (so no time wasted drawing axes), Answers for each graph! Lesson 1: Quadratic graphs! Recaps how to generate coordinates from an equation, examples of plotting graphs, differentiated questions with exam style questions to extend. Lesson 2: Cubic & Reciprocal graphs! Examples of how to generate and plot each graph. Worksheets WITH answers on each. Slides to print off as worksheets at the end of the presentation. Lesson 3: Exponential graphs! Examples of how to generate coordinates and plot graph, includes worksheet at the end of the presentation, answers of course and exam style questions to extend! Please feel free to edit these resources for your needs. If you like them, or think there is anything else I can do to improve them, rate or comment! Thanks =]

Nice lesson on plotting co-ordinates takes pupils through from the basics. It includes 1 quadrant and all 4 quadrants. There are a couple of really nice activities such as the one where you hide co-ordinates around the room and pupils have to find them to crack the code. Also, there is a bingo towards the end based on Christmas presents and co-ordinates.

Pokemon Coordinates and Directions

(0)
4 pages of activities based on Pokemon. Activities to practice using positional language, coordinates and following directions (KS1). PDF pack of numeracy resources that covers National Curriculum KS1 objectives (but based on a topic that could also be of interest to slightly older learners). Perfect for homeschooling, as a homework project, to supplement other classroom learning, to use with SEN pupils, those with gaps in their KS1/KS2 knowledge or those who would simply benefit from a re-cap. I am a homeschooling mum of a 7 year old child with Asperger’s (and a range of other SEN), as well as a former secondary school/SEN teacher. He responds well to project-based learning and so I figured others might benefit from this approach too! I am only just getting started with selling my resources so I would be very grateful for any feedback.
