Students pick a Smartie and must name the key word on the card, translate the sentence and then write/say a sentence of their own including the key word. The more cards they correctly complete the more Smarties they get to eat. There are 100 cards for each topic (apart from customs & festivals/technology as there are not as many words on the specification). Space Keywords Revision Game

(0)
Space Keyword Spin Wheel Revision Resource This resource encompasses 12 keywords from the space unit. These are keywords selected as they occur regularly and are classically challenging for students to define. Example keywords from the spin wheel resource: Galaxy, Asteroid Belt, Solar System, Moon, Star etc. . . Also included in the resource is a full answer set. There is also an instructions sheet, with helpful guidance on using the spin wheel as a revision tool, student answer sheet and a ‘tick and repeat sheet’. This encourages the student to revisit the spin wheel to revise the keywords until they reach the ‘know it’ level. Very simple preparation: Print the sheets (set up in A4 PDF). The students can then cut out the pin wheel for themselves and push a pen or pencil through the middle for the wheel to spin around. I found clamp stands to be a useful alternative. Feel free to ask questions before purchasing this product.

Speaking Revision Board Game

(21)
Here is a board game to practice speaking, either as a class by projecting it on the board or playing in pairs (if you can print enough in colours...). You could also use it at the beginning of the year to test knowledge. You will need a dice, some pawns, a set of questions. I haven't put any questions with it as you can simply resued questions for your topic as set by exam board or just use it as a vocab board, grammar board, role play practice all depending on what you are revising at the moment! Hope it&'ll be useful!

Revision Game

(0)
A low/no prep game that can be used to revise any questions / topic. I have used in MFL teaching as a translation game and currently in ESL teaching for speaking practice. Instructions on the slides - points etc can easily be altered - but you MUST download and use with Powerpoint as the necessary animations don’t work on Slides. I don’t claim credit for the idea - I found on similar on here in the past but I couldn’t find it so I remade it.
