15+Questions per topic (Topic A to E covered)
A booklet of conversation questions to prepare pupils for their GCSE Spanish speaking exam. Questions are divided into topics within the 5 themes covered in Edexcel. There is also a vocab bank at the back for pupils to fill in.
Masterlist of questions from all topics in Edexcel A-Level Speaking. Includes 195 revision questions plus a breakdown of exam topics and themes. Ideal for students to assess gaps in knowledge and to revise for the exam. Questions are either taken from past papers or designed with a similar style to stimulus cards. They can be used to prepare practice stimulus cards or just as a quick revision tool, as well as prompts for homework.
This ambitious 140 page print-on-demand Spanish Grammar Workbook covers every grammar point from main exam board specifications and goes beyond as well! It is my attempt at distilling everything into one workbook which will last the entire GCSE course (potentially starting in as early as year 7/8 and lasting into year 12). The workbook is designed to be used both in the classroom and at home and assumes zero prior knowledge, I often use it for feedback and providing interventions. The cover was designed by the brilliant @languageswithmaddy!

A Speaking Booklet containing the questions in the back of the Viva text book for Edexcel. It also contains the mark scheme for Edexcel.
Apologies for any spelling mistakes.
-"¿Qué pasa podcast?" is a series of 22 podcasts with accompanying transcripts, grammar and exam-like activities for Edexcel GCSE Spanish Higher Tier lessons. This resource contains an entertaining story linked to 22 podcasts and worksheets with activities, such as “Sentence Builders” and Edexcel exam-like exercises. The study guide can be used for self-study as it has the answers at the end or by non specialist teachers.
-“¿Qué pasa, podcast? Soy rapero y YouTubero”, is a comprehensive practical study guide for Edexcel GCSE Spanish that will help your students to succeed in their exams. It uses humour and a fresh engaging story, written in the first person from the point of view of a 15 year old boy called Alex. Alex lives in England but he is bilingual in English and in Spanish. He spends every summer at his grandparent´s house in San Sebastian, Northern Spain. There, he learns about Spanish culture, food and festivals, before coming back to school in England. You can try this resource viewing a sample with the first two podcasts via this link https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/-12830867
-The podcasts have been written to facilitate practice and learning of the Edexcel Spanish GCSE syllabus. The resource is divided into 22 podcasts with follow-up exam practice questions, plus there is a final worksheet on characterisation, which acts as a bridge to the A level syllabus.
-The students can listen to the podcasts conveniently while they are on the go and they can listen to them while reading the transcripts and before doing the GCSE exam-like questions.
-Each podcast includes at least one GCSE Spanish topic and overall the resource covers all the main GCSE Edexcel topics. To help students learn vocabulary relevant to the GCSE topics, the podcasts include words from the Edexcel vocabulary list.
In addition, each podcast has one or more grammar teaching points. A table with a list of both the GCSE topics and the grammar points used in this booklet can be found on pages 6 and 7. Each podcast has around 150 words. The resource can be used in different ways: to complement your teaching, as a revision booklet, for independent study, to set homework or for cover lessons.
This resource can be differentiated. For lower level students, we suggest that you use the texts as reading exercises, whilst higher level students, can listen to the podcast first and attempt to answer the questions before reading the text. The music used in the podcasts has been written by my 15 year old son, whose artistic name is Lil Reddy, you can check out his YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLuRXSjGyHPXtVhLdp7X3KQ

This resource can be used as a lesson on how to prepare for the role play task (foundation and higher tiers) or as a booklet for students to practise as part of the lesson, homework, revision material, etc.
The booklet is aimed to focus on how to answer/understand the bullet points and think about what the examiner could ask for each of them. It also contains information about the role play task for Edexcel.
I have not created/designed the role plays. I have put together some of the foundation and higher role plays from the Edexcel VIVA textbook and some from past papers/sample assessments, etc. They are organised by theme.
I created this PowerPoint so that my department could go through the key elements during the first week back with Yr 10 to introduce the course and the new GCSE Edexcel requirements.
This 103-page workbook contains foundation and higher photocards for all of the topics and subtopics in the new specification Edexcel Spanish GCSE.
For each photo, there is a student’s card and a teacher’s card, with differentiated questions for foundation and higher students.

This is a Theme 1 Booklet. It is aimed to teach content and how to approach the GCSE Edexcel Spanish examination by using examination style questions instead of going through every module (lack of time in lessons led me to create this).
Please can I clarify that no all resources are mine. I have used past papers, textbook activities and so on and I have put everything together in this booklet. Some activities have been created from scratch so please let me know of any typos or mistakes and I can correct and upload again.

Assessment sheet
A 3-stage activity that gets students thinking about how to achieve in this speaking task. Students look at an exemplar higher task, discuss why it got a certain grade using a student friendly mark scheme (included) and then have a go their own photo description.
A breakdown of past, present and future tense questions for the new 9-1 GCSE topic International and global dimension. This document contains questions and suggested sentence starters to support pupils.
The sheet has been created to help support teachers while conducting speaking mocks for the Edexcel Pearson speaking exam (Spec. 2016). The official mark schemes can sometimes be overwhelming during mocks when teachers have to ensure students are prepared, they are asking the correct questions, keeping an eye on time and having to listen and mark on the spot.
To help with this demanding task, the basic information has been fitted to an A4 sized table.
Foundation and higher mark sheets included.
For the role-play, there is space to tally how many points you give (2 points per question)
The picture-based activity and general converastion mark bands have been simplified to the basic information. While conducting the assessment, add a tick in which band you think is appropriate.
When you finally upload data, simply, refer back to Pearson Edexcel’s mark scheme to award a number based.
Our team saved a lot of time marking mocks this way and we managed to fit in over 80 students with 4 teachers conducting in one day.

12 sentences builders for Module 2 **Mi vida en mi insti **Viva (GCSE Edexcel)
I have created a sentence builder to answer each conversation question suggested at the end of the Textbook Viva for Module 2, plus a few others.

A marksheet to record coursework of your classes. You only need to add their name, first name, form, predicted grade or anything you might want to add for info... then everytime you complete a coursework, enter their mark in the column "Mark /20", a grade will appear and the total column will also fill itself up. Once the final grade is a C it turns green, B yellow and A or A* orange. Very good visual for students and yourself to track down where your students are working at. Any queswtions, please don't hesitate to leave your comments!
