What makes something living? If we needed to leave Earth where could we move to in our solar system that could actually sustain life? In this lesson students will discuss what makes something living. They will also explore the solar system to review what they know so they can make an educated decision on where they could move based off of the factors of W.A.G.O.N. The factors of W.A.G.O.N. include having water, an atmosphere, in the Goldilocks Zone, oxygen present, and the correct nutrients available (CHOPNS). This is for any teacher that is introducing genetics to their students. You could also use this to introduce students to parts of a cell. Another use would be an introduction to the different domains of life and an example would be the Domain Eukaryota. There are so many uses for this Google Expeditions AR lesson. If students don’t understand about DNA and chromosomes when learning about life and the cell, then they kind have missed the most important part. #GoogleExpeditions
