A swimming assessment tool I created for providing a detailed assessment for students working at P4-P8. Each step offers progression from one step to another. There are 11 skills to be achieved in each step. The assessment framework was created for students within SEN particularly those with SLD. Together with this resources are 5 sample lessons that work well alongside the assessment tool. These lessons work as individualized lessons or small groups of up to 8 students. There is also a sensory story that could work well to prepare students that transitions from the class the setting to the swimming pool.

Sessions would work well for students with difficulty learning GCSE PE theory in a class based environment.

A comprehensive resource for any teacher teaching Swimming. The resource includes several Swimming lessons that are very easy to use (including differentiated games) and include the NC levels the students are working at. Also included are sample swimming targets and sample games that I have created during my time teaching swimming. As part of this resource there are attached 4 Swimming Gala programs. The programs have been aimed at students operating across the Swimming ability range so could work in an SEN, primary or secondary setting. There are also supporting forms for the hosting of regional Galas. These resource was developed in an SEN setting but could work within mainstream from students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3.

SEN PE Resources (All used an developed in an SEN PE setting for students between P6-NC5): Included: VI Hockey concept and 4 lesson plans (can work with uni-hoc sticks) Bashball and lesson plan 2 Dance Sessions (with work around the parachute and co-ordinating movement with music included) Athletics Session outline An idea for adapting Hockey using Uni-Hoc sticks I found at the Visually Impaired school I work at. Also included are 4 lesson plans for teaching VI Hockey using the specialist equipment. This game was developed at the visually impaired school I worked at and as far as I'm aware has not been practiced anywhere! Though its lots of fun.
