This dynamic power point lesson explores the meaning within chapter 1 through a series of structured tasks and academic writing. The slides are beautifully illustrated with dark art to enhance the tone of the reading in class and have proven to be very engaging for the students in my own classroom. I have used this resource as a learning material in class, as a homework assignment and also as a tool for revision – all have worked well for the students.
This power point lesson contains a starter activity, a recap on previous learning, summary and analysis questions, an academic writing task, an extension task and a plenary. This is a very complete resource, all the time-consuming work has been completed for you. Enjoy! A perfect aid for flip learning also. Enjoy!

KS3 task that has been used as a homework to research renewable energy resources using an island setting. Follows the old APP focus from the NC and the targets are set using these. Work sheet can be modified to meet the new NC demands.
This is a book full of questions which is great to give to students to learn and revise. This can be used as a great source of revision or a homework task where students have to learn the answers and then they are tested on them next lesson. The Knowledge booklets contains the key scientific knowledge that has been formed in association with the 2016 onward, AQA specification. This key scientific Knowledge is the fundamental information that students will need to learn to apply to exam style questions.
Be weird, be funny, be gross, have fun, play, stick to your routines and find that little spark of madness we all have and electrocute the class with it!
My style of teaching isn’t for everyone, I’m a dyslexic teacher who’s heard it all, my lessons are all catered towards accessibility (because if they were not I’d never be able to read them myself). Everything is short sharp and to the point, I don’t believe in endless writing, reams of printing, spoon feeding diagrams or pointless activities. Every minute matters!
Be sure to check out all my other resources, as a personal goal I intend to share all my resources at least once because hey, the government isn’t going to make it easier and we both know you are reading this way outside of your work hours.
Enjoy, comment or rate if you can, but most of all hang in there, they need you way more than you realise!

Brilliant resource! So brilliant that our maths teacher beat me by playing it first so the kids knew the answers. However he didn’t play the dance of the loosing team and we did. We had so much fun! Thank you very much for your fantastic work!
Absolutely brilliant. Worth every penny. Usually do one myself so you have saved me hours of prep. Looks terrific and the kids have loved it. A huge thank you!
What an absolutely amazing end of term quiz! I did this with an assembly group and they had an absolute blast! ( Admittedly - they all presumed I had taken the days of work it must have taken you to produce such a great quiz- and I didn’t correct them ;-) ! )
Thank you so much for increasing my credibility amongst my colleagues and my students alike!
