SUMMER QUIZ / END OF TERM QUIZ: It’s summer quiz time! A massive, editable and interactive end of term quiz with loads of fun rounds designed to interest a wide range of student tastes (but still be a little educational too!) Rounds include: 2018 So Far, Music, Internet Fun and Jokes, Grammar, Spelling, Maths, Celeb in a Sandcastle and Name that Creature. The quiz is interactive, multiple choice and has hidden humorous Youtube clips throughout the questions for extra clues or a commiseration giggle when the class get an answer wrong. There are two ways of playing - either as a whole class, or, you can put the quiz on slide view, skip the answers and read them out at the end (if your class would rather compete in groups). A score sheet and all answers are included. The quiz is completely editable too. Following the popularity of last year’s quiz, here is this year’s Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2018. It is an end of term and end of year quiz for use with your classes or tutor groups with various subjects from the previous ten school months. Each round is a month from September 2017 until and including July 2018, containing questions about events that were happening during that time. In addition, there are bonus rounds mixed in on popular films, television programmes and music from this period. A tiebreaker is also included if the teams cannot be separated at the end. An answer sheet has been included for teams to write their answers. Simply print this out, load up the slides and away you go! Pupils can mark each other’s answers too, meaning there is no planning and no marking required.

Connect your students with the heroic events surrounding Dunkirk via Christopher Nolan's action thriller, Dunkirk with our brand new resource. Targeted at 12-16 year olds, and a perfect resource to support history, PSHE/PSE/SMSC or citizenship lessons, The Dynamo Challenge presents a series of team building challenges centred around three narrative perspectives from the air, land and sea. You can also enter your school into The Dynamo Challenge competition. Task your students to create a group 3D art installation to commemorate the events at Dunkirk, submit a photo to competitions@intofilm.org OR tweet us @intofilm_edu and be in with a chance of the artwork being displayed at Dover Castle alongside the costumes from the film!
