Gruffalo rhyming words

(1)
Here is a set of visual rhyming words found in the Gruffalo story to support teaching rhyme within this book. I have found pictures to provide support for SEN/EAL/young children. These can be cut up and laminated for teaching or just cut up and mixed up for activity work (print 2 pages per sheet for evidence in books).

Early Years Continuous Provision - The Gruffalo

(0)
Early Years Continuous Provision - The Gruffalo Suitable for Early Years or Year 1 This planning is based around the book The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. It ensures that children become really familiar with the book. Part 1 - Each day includes one group or whole class activity that focuses on children completing a specific book related task. The tasks are all fun, crafty and engaging. Part 2 – Part 2 includes a range of suggested continuous provision activities that you may want to put out for the children to access throughout the week. There is a number of activities listed, all engaging and fun. All of the continuous provision planning has links to the NEW EYFS 2021 Development Matters, specifically the ‘Children in reception will be learning to…’ section. This is detailed planning (2640+ words). Please leave a review if you are happy with this product; I would really appreciate it. The Gruffalo

I hope that teachers find these resources useful and that it helps to save time. This is basically all the clues and resources needed to conduct a fun Gruffalo Treasure Hunt. I have attached lots of teaching ideas to support the teaching of The Gruffalo and the differentiated Treasure Hunt Clues. Within the Reading Ideas it also includes how to possibly organise the Treasure Hunts. I have done Treasure Hunts for lots of texts and clues for a range of books, including James and the Giant Peach, Harry Potter and Handa’s Surprise. If useful to teachers, I will upload these too! Enjoy
