Here is a set of visual rhyming words found in the Gruffalo story to support teaching rhyme within this book. I have found pictures to provide support for SEN/EAL/young children. These can be cut up and laminated for teaching or just cut up and mixed up for activity work (print 2 pages per sheet for evidence in books).

I hope that teachers find these resources useful and that it helps to save time. This is basically all the clues and resources needed to conduct a fun Gruffalo Treasure Hunt. I have attached lots of teaching ideas to support the teaching of The Gruffalo and the differentiated Treasure Hunt Clues. Within the Reading Ideas it also includes how to possibly organise the Treasure Hunts. I have done Treasure Hunts for lots of texts and clues for a range of books, including James and the Giant Peach, Harry Potter and Handa’s Surprise. If useful to teachers, I will upload these too! Enjoy
