I hope that teachers find these resources useful and that it helps to save time. This is basically all the clues and resources needed to conduct a fun Gruffalo Treasure Hunt. I have attached lots of teaching ideas to support the teaching of The Gruffalo and the differentiated Treasure Hunt Clues. Within the Reading Ideas it also includes how to possibly organise the Treasure Hunts. The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo's Child Book Unit

This is a printable set of QR Codes for the books to use in your listening centres and 24 pages of different responses to use in Literacy Centres. The responses encourage the students to dig deeply into the books: comprehension skills visualization, sequencing, character analysis, predicting, making connections to events, cause and effect, fact and opinion, summaries, rhyming words etc. The codes don't take the place of the physical books, but after you have read and shared the books, the codes allow students to listen again and replay as needed to complete the responses. This is a great activity for re-reading and responding as part of Literacy groups. There are many options with the responses, so simply choose those that suit your students and the skills they need. The responses or tasks vary in difficulty, so this unit will cater for most student abilities.
