You can set your printer to print the answers on the reverse but if you do not have a double-sided printing option, print the odd numbered pages, then put the card or paper back in the printer in the correct order and print the even numbered pages on the other side. You can laminate and have students work individually or in groups, checking the answer on the back once they’ve had a go. Beat the Clock game. Excellent starter, especially if you want them to settle down really quick, I normally put 10 minutes on the stop watch. They then have to complete the questions as quickly as possible they then mark down the time they finish and as a class we mark them. Pupils can try and improve their score and time each time. You can easily change it so it can include decimals to make it more challenging.

This is a set of 4 worksheets in which students translate multiplication facts to division facts and vice versa. The resource is intended to assist students to consolidate their understanding of the relationship between multiplication and division. Each worksheet has ten multiplication facts to translate to division facts, and ten division facts to translate to multiplication facts. Worksheet 1: Translating a multiplication fact to a single division fact and vice versa, using 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x multiplication facts. Students do not need to solve the facts. Worksheet 2: As Worksheet 1, except the students are required to solve the facts (e.g. 5 x 2 = ?). Worksheet 3: Translating a multiiplication fact to two division facts, and a finding the related division fact and multiplication fact to a division fact (e.g. 6 / 2 = 3 --> 6 / 3 = 2 --> 2 x 3 = 6). Note the worksheets contain the proper division symbol. Worksheet 4: As Worksheet 2, except the students are required to solve the facts. Each worksheet will take around 5-20 minutes to complete depending on students' ability levels.
