Woodland Writing - 3 simplest levels

Children love animals, so your emergent and newly independent writers will love thinking up words to describe robins and more here. The bundle contains 3 versions of the same basic writing frame, ‘simple’ being the lowest level, and 'mid-level- the hardest. See my 'hardest version for your able or older pupils. There’s plenty to colour here too. The resource supports work on animals, woods, environment, nature and seasons, as well as firing creativity and developing writing skills.

Sounds of /oo/ - Woodland Animal Theme

(0)
This woodland animal theme center reviews the sounds of /oo/. Students read the words on the cards and place them with the animal showing the correct sound of oo. A worksheet is also included so students may document completion by writing the words once they are sorted. I have also included a clothes pin mini-poster. You’ll have to write the sounds on a few clothes pins and mark the answers on the back before you use it. Students may check their work using the answer key however you may find it easier for younger students if you write the correct answer on the back of the card. All you need do is print the pages on white index paper, laminate and cut out the pieces. Centers may be stored in file folders, manila envelopes or Zip lock baggies. I have included a page of blank cards for your own words.
