A good starting point for a lesson on gardens. Children can discuss which creatures on the slide are good for our gardens and which are a nuisance! In order they are : Greenfly (harmful), butterfly (benficial for pollination - but what about caterpillars? Good discussion point), bee (pollination), snail (harmful), beetle (beneficial - eats slugs), ladybird larvae (eats greenfly), blue tit (eats greenfly & caterpillars).
