Students discover the reasons for space travel and design their own space mission. Aimed at a low ability year 8 class but could easily be adapted for other year groups/abilities. The starter and the plenary have been taken from another TES contributor but this shows how I have fitted them into a lesson. The main is an activity I created where students design their own space mission. Access to computers/laptops is needed. They complete the tasks (detailed in the notes section at the bottom of the powerpoint) page by page.
