The D question has been quite challenging for some of my students and the mark scheme wasn’t particularly student friendly. I found this document (https://qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/GCSE/Religious Studies/2016/teaching-and-learning/gcse-rs-exemplar-pack-spec-a-and-spec-B.pdf) on the Edexcel website and worked out what students would have to do, as a bare minimum, to make it to a particular level. Some of my more capable students could be limited by this, but it’s been incredibly helpful for those students who need to improve their answers considerably. It also makes a D question easier and quicker to mark. There are teacher mark sheets, self assessment mark sheets and peer marking sheets (all very similar) included. All fully editable in Word.
