Take the students through ideas to put into a paragraph, and highlight how to move from simply feature spotting to layering and challenging theory and then building in wider discussion and evaluation for top band marks. Cover six common features found in many texts, both spoken and written transcripts, including; virtuous error, descriptive language, /th/ phoneme, manipulating genre, sounding out approach and play.
