Hi, as part of our Africa / Lion King Topic, we studied TingaTinga Art. This all of my planning for this unit of 5 lessons. All of the resources are made on powerpoint and word, so are fully editable. I hope you find this useful and it saves you some planning time. Simple yet effective task for children to sequence the main events from The Ugly Duckling. Editable resource and perfect for EYFS, early Year 1 and SEND. You could ask the children to write key words or a sentence to match each picture.

This is a powerpoint presentation that reminds children where spaces between words need to go, and why we use them. It is suitable for reception, year 1 and SEND. The power point includes print screens of my activinspire slides and finger space icons that children can drag and move to the correct place and is therefore interactive. The activinspire slidesare also included are editable (however I am aware not everyone has activinspire which is why I made the powerpoint resource). At the end of the slides there is an activity for children to complete (maybe in class) and then a homework activity. I printed the slides directly and therefore no word documents are required. Hello, This resource is an editable activity to support children to identify their own feelings and emotions. It will be useful for wellbeing sessions perhaps when returning to school after closure, or part of circle time, PHSE, etc. Children colour and design the monsters, enabling opportunity to discuss which colours represent which feleings, and how this may differ from child to child. The activity then requires them to explain their feelings in a little more depth, at a level that is suitable for them. I carried out this activity with my year one class in the summer term and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have created a high quality task, requiring children to write questions after finding it difficult to find suitable resources online. The task requires children to write at least three questions to be able to complete the activity. There are images from the story to prompt ideas. I have created wide line spaces to support our little learners.

Two editable power points. The first one is designed to introduce question marks for the first time (what do they look like, why do we use them, where do they go, etc) and the second one is designed to re-cap that lesson, either a few days or a week later. There are no tasks within this bundle but I do have other question mark activities for sale if you would like to check those out. These powerpoints are more of a whole class input.

Set of two editable SPaG / Grammar quizzes suitable for year 1, KS1, spring / summer teacher assessment. They could also be used as an in class activity or home work sheet as an overall grammar recap / revision task. The quizzes both require children to write a simple sentence about a given picture, write the corresponding capital letter to match a given lower case letter and correct / rewrite two or three sentences with SPaG mistakes. One quiz also features a red word / common exception word question, and an ‘s’ Vs ‘es’ suffix question. The other looks at the prefix ‘un’ and suffix ‘ed’.
