A lesson looking at the plague, plague doctors and living conditions in 1665 London.
Intended for KS3, but I used the bulk of it also for a GCSE lesson.
This lesson may contain elements of other work. It is free and is intended to stay free. Please support the teaching community by sharing, crediting and helping freely.
This lesson looks at the causes of detente, SALT 1, the Helsinki Accords and SALT 2.
It would ideally be followed up by a second lesson on the subject as this lesson gives an overview of the big events, but does not cover the smaller parts such as the space mission. It should tackle the issue of treaties being dry by using the group activity.
**If the preview is out of sequence it is a TES issue, the actual download will be fine.***
I thank any and all contributors to this resource and as I have shared this resource for free ask that anybody else does so too.
This a lesson covering healers, treatments and causes of disease in the medieval era. It is intended as a lesson to plant some core knowledge in Year 7's prior to doing GCSE later.

Germany 1919-39 (Weimar and Nazi Germany)
The History of Medicine medieval to modern
The Cold War and Superpower relations 1941-91
Early Elizabethan England.
I have made these for GCSE History, but the templates could be easily adapted for languages, science or any other subject.
Inspired by ideas I saw on Twitter, but completely made from scratch in Powerpoint. These have been made on A4 size slides so will print out nicely (Battleships works well on A3 too). All of them can be edited and used as templates for further sets of games.
Over 50 pages of activities and skills!
Four booklets that cover the work and skills needed for GCSE Medicine through time (Edexcel).
Medieval, Renaissance, Industrial and Modern medicine.
There is questions, charts, sources, example paragraphs and enough work to do all four eras in depth.

I have used a card sort given freely from another teacher who shared on a facebook group (I added a less able version) and the plenary is from Jivespin's website, they are made using Halftone in Ipad (a useful app, worth getting). I thank them for their efforts and ask that if you modify this resource, share it for free. Help the teaching community.

Hi
This is a simple game. Pick a category, answer the question and get that much prize money, if you get it right you pick the next category and value. I haven’t done true Jeopardy for any one familiar with the show, just questions and answers. It works really well with groups and buzzers.
The slides are in colour and for some reason the preview doesn’t show them properly. It is all there though.
I used somebody elses template from a medicine quiz and I thank them for making it as it saved me a lot of time. THe Q and A are all my own work. If you wish to share it please do, but please do so for free.
Now with an instructions slide at the end.
