A lesson plan is provided as the last slide of each PowerPoint.

This is a set of three lessons that I have made to help students improve their skills in writing summaries. It is a combination of individual and group work. This was made for Year 9 as an introduction to GCSE English, but could work well for a lower ability KS4 class. I have tried to make a somewhat 'dry&' topic as entertaining as possible! A lesson plan features as the last slide on each PowerPoint.

(8)
This is a scheme of work that culminates in students writing a persuasive leaflet for a theme park. This is aimed at very low ability Year 7 students and is designed to be interesting and simple to follow. I have essentially used the existing PDF scheme of work here: https://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/Scheme-of-work-Unit-on-leaflets-and-theme-parks-6037479. I am however tweaking it slightly as I go and creating Power Points for each lesson, as this is the way that I like to work. I will be uploading this as and when I create the lessons but feel free to check out the original to get an idea of where it is going. I have put notes under each slide to briefly explain what the students/teacher will be doing. Let me know how you get on folks!
