  • Promoting your job advert to reach teachers browsing anywhere on who match your job description.
  • These teachers will have the option to send you questions to find out more about the role before applying in full.
  • These questions will appear in your ATS in Tes Portal and you can reply to them by email.
  • You can activate smartReach for any role through your ATS in Tes Portal.

It’s exclusive to any school with an Excel or Priority Recruitment Subscription.

When should you use smartReach?

smartReach should only be used for roles where you’re struggling to attract the right /enough teachers. The smartReach tool includes a special feature for teachers that allows them to send queries about the role before they have applied, so your school needs to have the ability to respond to these queries as well.

Where to find it?

You can find the button to activate smartReach for each job advert in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for the role.

How to activate smartReach?

Simply click on the job advert that you’d like to activate smartReach for and then click 'applications' to bring up the ATS. The button to activate smartReach for a role is in a block below the applications section of the ATS.
