Lord of the Flies Chapter Four lesson that explores William Golding’s novel as we learn more about Simon, Maurice, Roger and Jack. We explore in detail how Jack’s use of language reflects the mental changes he is going through as he applies paint to his face, whilst we look at how Simon appreciates the beauty of the island, and how Maurice and Roger torment the littleuns.

An excellent way to introduce the text to both KS3 and KS4 classes.
