Set predominantly in the Warsaw Ghetto, Names in a Jar is a dramatisation of the story of Polish nurse, Irena Sendler, who served in the Polish Underground in German-occupied Warsaw during World War ll. She smuggled approximately 2,500 Jewish children out of the Ghetto and then provided them with false identity documents and shelter, saving those children from the Holocaust.
