Planned for Cambridge A-level students but could easily be adapted. This lesson focuses on chapters 26-28 of the novel as well as taking in an in-depth look at repetitions in the novel and why Bronte uses this as a device in the novel. The lesson mainly focus around Heathcliff and to what extent we can read him as merely 'villainous', or whether this reading is problematised by context or the fact that he is Byronic hero.

The lesson resources include key quotations, class discussion, example essays, points for reflection and video clips.
