A fun and easy-to-do lesson for KS2 English, which is ideal as an independent task during a class book study.
The objective of the lesson is for the children to create an imaginative and descriptive list of 10 things that you would find in the pockets of a favourite book character. This could be carried out as a stand alone activity or as part of a wider book study topic.
There is differentiation built into the lesson, with challenge tasks and writing support for those who need it. All planning is also included in the pack.
The flexibility of the lesson means that I have been able to use it in Years 3/4 and in Years 5/6.
