iGCSE 2020 economics syllabus cards based on the new Grant iGSCE book. 63 pages, 3 on each page so 180 cards (3 are joke cards). These are number to help you and the students.

These cards can be given to students to make themselves, 1) cut out, 2) fold over, 3) laminate, 4) cut out again.
They can also be used as introduction, lesson obs, and ice breakers throughout the year. And can be used for good homework tasks, 3 examples are:

Q.161. On the whiteboard draw & explain 3 reasons for globalisation.
If good, extra point. If bad, submit a 3D container ship sculpture next lesson (attacked by a tariff shark)
Reduced transport costs (large efficient ships), advances in communication (alipay), removal of some tariffs and quotas (EU free trade agreements).

Q. 15. On the whiteboard; draw a free rider. And explain your drawing to the class. If drawing correct, clear, labelled and a good size then extra point. If bad, submit this as a new version of a famous song (keep the melody, only change the lyrics). Show perhaps, a person cycling under a street light

Q.38. Using your mime artist skills act out (without sounds) price inelasticity. If acting good, extra point, if bad submit this as a colourful A3 poster or long 3D totem pole with examples next lesson. Price inelasticity = almost vertical line demand curve, price goes higher, and demand is still high

Q.113. On the whiteboard draw & explain 4 causes and types of unemployment. If good, extra point. If bad, submit this as a silhouette of a jobless person next lesson. Frictional, structural (regional and technical), cyclical, search, casual, seasonal.
