Celebrate the 2015 Rugby World Cup™ tournament (kicking off in London on 18 September 2015) by using this free activity with your Key Stage 2 and 3 pupils. This discussion-based activity enables pupils to explore their own and other people’s attitudes and values towards rugby, and its potential to impact on poverty, equality, racism, cultural understanding and global economics. It supports SMSC and PSHE and will complement work being carried out in schools this term around The World's Largest Lesson and the Global Goals.

Provided by the Global Learning Programme, this activity is part of a larger, free resource which contains additional rugby-based global learning activities that also support mathematics, English, geography, PSHE, citizenship and SMSC.
