An activity using a Literature text as a Language study. The Source is the opening chapter of Great Expectants so will encourage students to make the link between their study of the Literature texts whilst preparing for the language exams. The resource covers Paper 1 Section A questions 2 and 3 - language and structure. I have included a copy of the chapter in case you don't have it to hand. The activity can be adapted so that it is a cut and stick or could be converted into a drag and drop activity on the IWB. I asked my students to complete this in groups then got them to develop the questions into a response independently. I have also included suggested answers - to save you time!
