Pupils are in teams of 3 or 4 and have one mini whiteboard per team. They number themselves 1 to 4. They start by standing up for the first slide...when every member of the team is confident of the answer the team sits down. When all teams are sitting select a number from 1 to 4 (dice, spinner etc) and that team member has to write the answer with a reason on the whiteboard. I usually do this as a team game and award 0, 1 or 2 points to each team depending on the quality of the answer. It really helped improved their ability to give word reasons for angle problems.

Good idea. The resource itself is pretty simple but I like the way you've described its use. Will give it a go!

This is a nice simple resource which would make a great activity, it is important for students to be able to justify their answers and this really pushes them to do it. Making this into a competition would really help to engage your students, if you make sure your groups are mixed ability this also allows an opportunity for some peer tutoring. Thank you for sharing.
