This document was put together with help from a VI teacher, HI teacher and a teacher specialising in Autism. It was designed to guide subject leaders in Science, Design Technology and Home Technology on common risk areas for students with SEN, and ways they can plan to reduce risk. It can also assist SEN Coordinators and LSAs / Teaching Assistants in planning IEPs and in-class support. Given the climate we live in, I will also add the disclaimer - it is not a legal document!
