This is an excellent tarsia on solving simple equations, most of the questions are straight forward two step equations but there are four questions with unknowns on both sides. One of the spaces is blank which could be for students to add in their own question when completed. This would make an excellent activity at any stage of the lesson, although is probably best as a main activity. You could use it as a starter in a lesson on solving equations with unknowns on both sides, just to see how the students try to handle that. Thank you for sharing.
