The title itself sets up the context of anonymity and remoteness. The use of the pronoun ‘She’ as opposed to a name gives a sense of universality also; it enables us to relate to the message more easily- it is possible for any one of us to go through life unnoticed and unappreciated. The word ‘among’ gives a sense of being lost ‘among’ other things; a sense that ‘she’ is obscured by he very surroundings. She is enveloped by her surroundings as opposed to standing apart and above them. The word ‘among’ tells us that ‘she’ has blended into the surroundings thereby becoming unnoticed.
